Gone…

“For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;”

I have been extremely blessed to have godly parent that have taught me through God’s Word not to live for self, but for Christ.

I had dreams, but they were as the smoke of a fire. There for a second then Gone forever. But Christ? His mercy is forever. His work can not be undone.

What amount of money is worth choosing over Christ? What job is worth choosing over Christ? What sport, family member, dream or entertainment is worth choosing over Christ? It is as grass. The wind passes over life, and it is gone. But Christ? He is Forever.

Lord, this life that I am living, use it for your Glory and not mine. Help me to put away prideful desires and dreams because soon and very soon, they will be gone.
