Judges ‭16:23-24‬

“Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand. And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.”

Did you know, that when we disobey God’s Word, the world praises their gods instead of seeing the Power of our King Jesus? Samson, filled with pride, disobeyed God’s Word and trusted In his own strength. The next time we want to do “what we want to do”, may this be a reminder to you. It should bother us when we are the cause of the world mocking our God.

My Prayer: “Dear Father, You are such a wonderful God. Thank you for your Love, Your strength, and your Salvation in Jesus. Lord forgive me for disobeying you Holy Word and being the cause of this world mocking You. Help me to live in obedience to Your Word, that the world may see you through me. Amen”
